Pull out your capes! The inaugural Urban Nerd Con – Our Heroes, Villains, Our Stories, Everyone’s Con – took flight in Montgomery, Alabama this past weekend.
Four teams of Middle School kids from the Ed Farm program were featured during the Con as they present the video games they created to see which will take First Place!
The Urban Nerd Con is a multicultural comic, gaming, cosplay and tech event. Designed to provide creators of African descent across the diaspora an opportunity to showcase their work with fans of all backgrounds, it’s also where all fans can come to see – and buy – the best independent artwork, comics, novels and games from the “Defenders of the Diaspora.”
Fans have have the opportunity to learn and participate by taking advantage of several tracks of programming, including panels aligned to their interests.
