Introduce yourself to our audience. Please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I, Regina D. Braggs, am the founder and CEO of Applause Network TV, Inc. which is an African American-Woman-owned streaming service. Also known as ANTV, it is a New York State C. Corporation that has been providing entertainment via videos and live shows since 2010. ANTV’s target market is the millennial/hip hop market. I have an MBA and 15 years of experience as a leader in the film industry overseeing original content creation.
I founded ANTV after years of submitting screenplays to distributors who rejected and referred to them as ensembles. Starting my own streaming service provided the opportunity to maintain ownership and distribute my content independently, in addition to providing a platform for unknown talented writers, directors, and producers while cultivating their skills and providing advice about the business end of the industry. I am passionate about sharing knowledge with other artists in the entertainment industry while developing networks that help new leaders emerge and thrive.
We’d love to hear more about your work.
I am also a content creator who writes screenplays, podcasts, and other forms of entertainment available through video and live streaming on ANTV’s website at https://antv.tv and on its Roku channel. My most recent creation which was launched in 2020 is the comedy game show podcast Say What. Other on-demand projects that are scheduled for production include How Prayer’s Work, Goddess, A Woman Scorned, Secret, Crumb (the series), and a host of additional new content.
