Markecia Dudley: Black Owned Traveling Nail Bar
Markecia Dudley Nail Technician/Entrepreneur

Nationwide (BlackNews.com) — Markecia Dudley is a 28-year old wife, mother, nail technician, and entrepreneur. Born and raised in Georgia, she found her passion in doing nails at the age of 8 years old.

Growing into her teenage years, Markecia started her studies in nursing to become a labor and delivery nurse at Georgia Highlands College in Rome, Georgia. After 4 years of schooling and not getting into nursing school, she decided to return back to her first passion and that’s where the beauty of her doing nails began again.

She came up with the name Nicole Acrylics in 2018 and by the year 2020 it had branched into what is now known as “The Traveling Nail Bar”. She started out traveling from home to home to do her clients nails in her local area and after about 6 months, she decided that she no longer wanted to go into people’s homes and came up with the brilliant idea of having her own shop and making it mobile so that she could still be a convenience to her clients.

So, she then she bought a shuttle bus and turned it into a mobile nail salon so that she could carry out her vision of having a mobile salon. And that is how the beauty of the traveling nail bar began!
