A new year, a new engagement! ‘Cosby Show’ star Keshia Knight Pulliam announced she’s engaged to former NFL player and ‘RHOA’ star Ed Hartwell. Congrats!
Keshia Knight Pulliam, 36, is ringing in the new year full of love! The actress is engaged to Ed Hartwell, 37. The former reality star popped the question to the actress on New Year’s Eve with one amazing diamond ring! Looks like someone has a wedding to plan!
“Happy to spend not only my new year but my life with this guy!!! #BlessedBeyondMeasure,” Keshia captioned the Instagram photo announcing her engagement. In the photo, Keshia and Ed are sharing one passionate kiss. These two are clearly in love!
Before making the engagement announcement, Keshia flashed her ring in another Instagram photo. “Happy New Year!!! The champ is here!!! Lol… So grateful for family. #SpadesChamp #YesWeHaveBelts #BlessedBeyondMeasure #FamilyOverEverything,” she captioned the pic.
Ed is a former player for the Baltimore Ravens. He was featured on the first two seasons of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, while he was married to cast member Lisa Wu. The couple divorced in 2012.
Keshia is best known for playing the youngest daughter of Cliff (Bill Cosby) and Clair Huxtable (Phylicia Rashad) on The Cosby Show from 1984 to 1992. She became the youngest actress to be nominated for an Emmy in 1986. She also starred in Tyler Perry’s House of Payne from 2007 to 2012. Keshia was most recently a cast member on season 7 of The Celebrity Apprentice.
Keshia’s co-star Bill was recently charged with sexual assault. The actress spoke out about the allegations against Bill in an Oct. 2015 interview with HuffPost Live. “I chose not to [discuss it] because … that was not my experience with him, and I wanted to share with the world the man I knew,” Keshia said.
